Refund policy
SECTION 1 - 15-DAY RETURN POLICY
Blindfolded World operates with a strict 15-day return policy from the date of delivery. Returns will not be accepted beyond this timeframe under any circumstances. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect their order immediately upon receipt and take action within the given period if a return is required.
SECTION 2 - ELIGIBILITY & RETURN PROCESS
Only items that are unworn, unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging with tags attached are eligible for a return. Any item that shows signs of wear, damage, or alteration will be immediately rejected and returned to the sender at their expense. Returns without original proof of purchase will not be processed.
To initiate a return, you must contact our support team at awretheblind@blindfoldedworld.com within the 15-day window. Once your request is reviewed and approved, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide instructions for shipping. No returns will be accepted without an RMA number.
Once the returned item is received, it will undergo a mandatory inspection process, which takes 1-2 business days. If the item passes inspection and meets the return requirements, the refund or exchange will be processed accordingly. If the item fails inspection due to signs of wear, damage, or any condition that does not meet our return criteria, the return will be denied, and the item will be sent back at the customer’s expense.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a verified mistake on our end, such as receiving the wrong item or a manufacturer defect. If the return is not approved upon inspection, the item will be sent back at the customer’s expense.
SECTION 3 - DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ORDERS
All orders must be inspected by the customer upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you are required to contact us immediately at awretheblind@blindfoldedworld.com with clear photographic evidence of the issue. Failure to report issues within 48 hours of delivery will result in forfeiture of any replacement or refund eligibility.
SECTION 4 - NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Under no circumstances will returns be accepted for custom and pre-order items, as these are made-to-order and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded. Sale items and gift cards are also final sale, meaning all discounted or promotional items are non-refundable. For health and safety reasons, personal care or hygiene products cannot be returned under any condition. Additionally, perishable goods, hazardous materials, and flammable substances are not eligible for return. If you are uncertain about whether your item qualifies for a return, you must contact us before making a purchase to avoid any misunderstandings.
SECTION 5 - EXCHANGE
Blindfolded World does not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, you must return the original item through the proper return process and place a new order separately. This ensures accurate inventory tracking and prevents processing delays.
Once the returned item is received for an exchange, it will undergo a 1-2 business day inspection process to verify its condition. If the item passes inspection, the exchange will be processed. If the item fails inspection, the exchange will be denied, and the item will be sent back to the customer at their expense.
SECTION 6 - REFUND
Refunds will only be issued after the returned item has been received and inspected. The inspection process takes 1-2 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method. Refunds will not include original shipping fees, as these are non-refundable.
It is important to note that financial institutions may take additional time to process refunds. Blindfolded World is not responsible for any delays caused by your bank or credit card provider.
SECTION 7 - FINAL AGREEMENT
By purchasing from Blindfolded World, you agree to all terms stated in this policy. Failure to comply with the return requirements will result in an automatic denial of your request. Any attempts to file chargebacks for returns that violate this policy will be disputed with full legal backing, using the agreed-upon terms as evidence.
